Get to know me
I’m Moshe Schwalb, a psychotherapist and Certified IFS Therapist who believes that meaningful therapy begins with feeling genuinely seen, understood, and accepted.
I view therapy as a collaborative journey. I’m not the expert who tells you what is wrong with you. I bring clinical knowledge, curiosity, and perspective, and create an environment where you can explore yourself honestly and safely.
I believe people have an innate capacity for growth and healing. Sometimes it becomes obscured by painful experiences, protective patterns, or emotions that feel overwhelming.
My job is not to “fix” you. It’s to help create the conditions in which your own capacity for healing and growth can emerge.
I bring warmth, authenticity, curiosity, and even playfulness to my work. I want therapy to be a place where you can take off the mask, slow down, and be yourself.
I’m an active therapist, but I don’t force an agenda.
Most importantly, I want you to feel that I genuinely care about you and that we are working on this together.

The therapeutic relationship
I work hard to create an environment that is warm, safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I meet clients where they are. You don’t need to perform, impress me, or have everything figured out.
You can be angry. Confused. Sad. Funny. Ambivalent. Hopeful. Contradictory. You can simply be human.
It is a privilege to accompany someone through difficult and meaningful moments, and I take that responsibility seriously.
My background
I have pursued extensive training in several evidence-based and experiential approaches to psychotherapy.
I believe that becoming a good therapist is an ongoing process. I continue to participate in advanced training, seminars, consultation, and clinical supervision.
Undoing aloneness, one connection at a time.
